Rhonda Lowe
Psychologist
I am a dedicated psychologist specialising in drug and alcohol addiction, drawing on my extensive experience from working with Odyssey House and the Family and Community Services (FACS) Community Justice Program. My work has given me a deep understanding of the challenges faced by clients with complex needs, including those involved in the forensic disability sector. I am particularly passionate about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I use to help clients recognize and alter harmful thought patterns and behaviors. Outside of my professional life, I have a wide range of interests and hobbies that keep me engaged and fulfilled. I love listening to podcasts, especially "If You’re Listening" from ABC News and "Real Crime Profile," often while I'm cooking. Autobiographies are another passion of mine, as I find inspiration and insight in the stories of others. I also love to travel, which gives me the opportunity to explore different cultures and perspectives. Music is a big part of my life, and I have a particular fondness for Motown and 80s hits. In my free time, I enjoy the intellectual challenge of pub trivia and find great joy and relaxation in horse riding. My diverse interests and compassionate approach allow me to connect deeply with my clients and support them in achieving lasting change.
